The graphic below provides open guidance, illustrating the path and speed of the sound-walk.

The walk will start in the blink of an ear.

In a closed or open space, allow your ears to guide your steps. In the blink of an ear, listen to the landscape influenced by the pace of your walk. Follow the guided path through space, dictated by the sounds you perceive. In the blink of an ear, attune yourself to the auditory cues of your partners. Pause and produce either a high or low tone when your paths intersect. Resume the walk, maintaining an attentive focus on all the surrounding sounds. Repeat the high and low tones anytime you cross someone. Pause at the end of each line and listen to how the sounds shift in the blink of an ear.

The walk will end in the blink of an ear.

The hands-on workshop 𝐼𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑜𝑓 𝑎𝑛 𝐸𝑎𝑟 delves into the multi layered concept of listening and the constellation body-sound-space. The intricate relationship between our body, the bodies of others and the surrounding space will be explored by making use of various listening exercises and sound walks. 🌈
