This was the first made in this hatching texture technique.
Far beyond finished, I had only had a couple of hours available, as my friend was changing continents. I laid a very soft texture base, for it to be filled whe she returns back to Europe in late 2026.

Patience is key when it comes to details. Understanding light and form is crucial. Rock textures require dedication and practice, still lots to learn! This synthetic skin isn't ideal for capturing white highlights, resulting in a lack of depth. Nonetheless, this piece was a blast to work on. Short timelapse coming soon...
