Designed as an , Marketta Food Hall, positioned as the hall in EasternEurope, is signaling a major new step in the evolution of Romania’s urban food scene.

Set within the restored former Ford factory, the project aims to redefine how Bucharest engages with gastronomy, blending international concepts with strong local brands in a curated, experience-driven environment.

A curated mix of global and local concepts

Chef-led concepts also play a central role, bringing new culinary formats to the space. The offering spans a wide range of formats, from à la carte restaurants and quick-service concepts to dessert spots, specialty coffee, gourmet retail, and themed bars.
The food hall will also include niche concepts such as a dedicated lobster bar, a truffle-based gastronomy concept, Japanese-inspired sandwiches, and a rotating cheese bar, reflecting a broader shift toward experiential dining and specialization.

At its core will be The Central Bar, described as the largest central bar in Romania, intended to function as a social anchor for the entire space.
The project also integrates complementary experiences, including a speakeasy bar inspired by New York’s Prohibition era, a children’s entertainment area, and an artisanal flower shop.
