Day 10 – Dussehra or Vijayadashami
In the southern, eastern, northeastern, and some northern states of India, Vijayadashami marks the end of Durga Puja, commemorating Goddess Durga's victory against the buffalo-demon Mahishasura to restore and protect dharma.

Maha Navami is another name for this day. On this auspicious day, devotees offer prayers and seek blessings of Maa Siddhidatri. Navratri means celebrating nine days and nine nights. In the month of Ashwina, on Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha, the ninth day of Navratri will be celebrated. Hindu Mandal Rwanda
