Mawj Telecom will be one of two local companies to represent the Kingdom in the Mobile World Congress Exhibition to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from Feb. 24 to 27. The other one is the Saudi Telecom Company (STC).

“It’s an honor for Mawj Telecom to be one of two companies to represent the Kingdom in the exhibition that attracts major companies from all over the world,” said Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Melehi, Mawj Telecom CEO.

He said that the exhibition, to be participated in by 1,700 exhibitors, is the blueprint for the next big innovation and that what is coming next will likely be born at the Mobile World Congress.

We are holding Infocomm Seminar & Exhibition 2013 on the latest Singaporean advances in the field of mobile smartphone information technology products and applications. It will be held in Riyadh from the 25th to 27th November 2013 at the Ritz-Calton, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Meleihi, Chairman of Mawj Telecom, a major organizer of the event, and the head of the Saudi side of the Saudi-Singaporean Business Council at the Council of Saudi Chambers, said “the event is a joint promotional activity between Mawj Telecom, and IDA Singapore, and the Saudi-Singaporean Business Council, with main focus on promoting innovative Singapore based technology companies through MAWJ Telecom to enter into both the Saudi Arabian and the MENA region markets.”

Around 130 decision-makers and executives from government and commercial companies in the Kingdom are expected to take part in the event.
