Where it all began!! This is the first embroidery i did of my daughters drawings and where I first got the idea to create lovely keepsakes for more people. That is also where the name MD designs came from standing for mother and daughter but also my maiden name Michelle Dowdle. The colour of the pen has faded so much it was once that deep purple and orange that I have embroidered in. Another reason why I am glad I captured the original drawing to keep forever. New piece done for a Christmas present. Lovely doing some writing for a sisters gift, love getting to create memories and keepsakes for people.

Lovely present for a special dad's birthday. Matty wrote out his name and mummy and daddy and I embroidered and made in to cushions. Lovely way to keep a memory of his handwriting and special gift to give.

First post in a while. We very sadly lost my wonderful mother-in-law back in August so I havent been able to think too much about this new venture. But she always taught me to live and love life so I am trying to channel her zest for life. We got my daughter to make a book with photos and drawings of her nanna so she can always see her whenever she wants. I took one of her drawings she did of her and her nanna and embroidered it to put in a frame so we can put it up and treasure it even more. I did her and her nanna in purple as that was bother their favourite colour. Something we will keep and treasure forever and a lovely way to keep this memory. 💔 @ Banstead
