Live Simple

This past Thursday and Friday, I participated in a course that turned out to be the most intense courses in my life.
I made 20 one-to-one connections with the 18 students and the 2 teachers. I learned so much about myself that I would have otherwise taken me a few years.

I remembered once again that connection is why we live and what makes us feel alive.

Right after the course, being so high on energy level, an amazing human being that I had disconnected from for a while, reminded me of our perhaps forgotten connection by sending me a few items with no text to explain them. When I opened the wrapping, I got tears in my eyes.She gave me the present of connection. It felt so amazing I had no words to describe my feelings. I didn't even know how to thank her.

I figured in the last two days that when I don't feel good about myself, I hide from people that are the most important to me. But nothing really makes me happy if I am disconnected.

After hiding from people/friends for about a year and creating a delusional comfort zone in my hibernation of social interactions, With great help from my love, I've decided to push myself to the limit and connect again.

After spending a few years abroad, do you feel sometimes that you have lost your competency in working in your own mother tongue? Or is it just me?

I feel really weird (and afraid) working in my mother tongue!!!
