The signing of the Joint Venture Agreement to establish the Sierra Leone Ocean Shipping Company (SLOSCo) is a bold and commendable step towards reviving our National Carrier and strengthening Sierra Leone’s position in the regional maritime industry.

What makes this initiative particularly remarkable is the strategic approach adopted creating opportunities for job creation, skills development, increased trade, investment attraction, and economic growth without placing a financial burden on Government.

This achievement reflects the commitment, vision, and strategic leadership of the Honourable Minister of Transport and Aviation, Alhaji Fanday Turay Esq. His efforts to advance Sierra Leone’s transport and maritime sectors deserve sincere commendation.
