Section 13 of the 1991 Constitution Act No.6 SL. makes provision for Patriotism and Nationalism.In parallel to the above, it's incumbent upon every citizen to religiously pay heed to this as we strive for the betterment of our beloved Nation(Sierra Leone)!
The recognition and promulgation of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2024 is a step towards social stability. It's duly geared towards pulverizing the practice of marrying and cohabitating a child below the statutorily stipulated age of consent(18 yrs.); for the record it is rationalized in section 11 of same.
I beg of society to adhere to its dictates as it's obviously with the intent of forestalling pedophiles from unpalatably feasting on youngsters, in that it's adaged "the young shall grow" and let them really grow!
