➖When history remembers the men who dared to lift a nation, it will remember Hon Bai Mahmoud Bangura (BMB) as the leader who didn’t just speak of change, he created it.
In a society quick to judge and slow to uplift, he saw promise buried beneath hardship. Where others saw young people as “Raray Boys,” he saw future leaders. Where many turned their backs, he stepped forward to help them. BMB is not just a politician; he is a transformer of destinies.

Where others looked at young men and named them “Raray Boys,” BMB looked at them and saw potential. He saw youth who only needed a platform, and he provided that platform without hesitation.

The young people society previously ignored, mocked, or wrote off, BMB welcomed them. He did not choose them because they were already refined or holding positions. He chose them because he believed in who they could become.

BMB transformed street boys into decision-makers. He helped ordinary youths grow into diplomats, respected executives, and influential voices within our beloved APC party. He uplifted them long before anyone else recognized their worth.

This is why he is celebrated as the father of the young people who others refer to as Raray Boys. He turned them from societal outcasts into national assets. He saw greatness where others saw nothing.

If a leader can identify hidden potential, nurture it, and produce honorable men from those once society dismissed, why should such a leader not be trusted with the future of our nation?
Why shouldn’t he be our flag-bearer?

BMB’s record speaks for itself. His leadership is proven, his compassion unmatched, and his commitment unwavering.

He has done it before.
He will do it again.

BMB is ready and so are we, to send him to State House in 2028.

➖Our Next Leader and Flagbearer was born in Mambolo Town, Kambia District, from the noble Royal House of Bai Shebora Lion, emerges a man whose life story is not merely traced through lineage, but illuminated by purpose, resilience, and service. Though descended from royalty, his path was not paved with privilege, but with determination, sacrifice, and an unshakable commitment to national duty.

From the humble classrooms of the Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood Primary School and the Great Scarcies Baptist Secondary School in Mambolo, to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School in Freetown, and onward to the historic halls of Fourah Bay College, his journey reflects discipline, grit, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of education.

He was a teacher.✅
He was journalist.✅
He is an entrepreneur.✅
He is a servant leader.✅
He is a Politician.✅

These roles shaped him, each one refining a leader who would go on to touch lives across Sierra Leone.

For over two decades, he has served with integrity and passion.

*He is a founding member of the National Union of APC Students at Fourah Bay College, he helped ignite a generation of young political thinkers.*

*Twice elected President of the APC National Youth League, he became a national voice for youth empowerment.*

*As the first Secretary General of the All Political Parties Youth Association, he cultivated unity across political divides.*

*His service deepened when he became Presidential Youth Aide to His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma from 2013 to 2016, and later Minister of Youth Affairs from 2016 to 2018 through which he reshaped the nation’s youth development strategy.*

He is the architect of the National Youth Service Scheme, a visionary champion of youth livelihoods, and a relentless advocate for inclusion and education. His leadership as National Organising Secretary and later Acting National Chairman of the All Peoples Congress guided the Party through some of its most challenging chapters with steadiness, courage, and conviction.

His recognitions speak to his influence:

— Most Influential Youth in Sierra Leone (2017)
— Ranked 3rd among the 50 Most Influential Young People (2018)

But his legacy extends far beyond accolades. It is written in the thousands of young people he has empowered, the bridges he has built between generations, and the renewed hope he represents for Sierra Leone.

His political journey has not been without trials. Persecuted, prosecuted, and charged with treason, he stood firm. Found not guilty on all counts and discharged, he emerged vindicated and unbroken. Without bitterness, he forgave those who wronged him severally, choosing purpose over resentment and unity over division.

Today, he stands ready once again to serve his country, a father to the youth, a royal by heritage, and a relentless go-getter by nature.

Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura is a patriot, leader and a politician who stands poised to embody the future, the All Peoples Congress seeks as it looks ahead to 2026.

Honourable Bai Mahmoud Bangura will serve as Distinguished Guest Speaker in this year's Girl Pekin for Betteh Foundation, 5th Edition, of the 50 Most Influential Students Award Ceremony.

The launching of the BMB Foundation in Port Loko has officially cemented itself as one of the most emotionally charged, widely attended, and politically defining events in recent APC history. What was intended to be a foundation unveiling swiftly evolved into a momentous political declaration, one that has reshaped the internal landscape of the party and ignited renewed enthusiasm across the Northwest.

Massive crowds filled the streets as party dignitaries, district leaders, regional executives, traditional authorities, and devoted supporters converged on Port Loko. The energy surrounding the event has been described by many as unprecedented, setting the tone for what is now hailed as the most strategic political announcement of the year.

Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura’s arrival triggered scenes of jubilation rarely witnessed in the district. Thousands lined the streets, chanting his name and waving APC colours with pride as they escorted him toward the venue.
In the heart of the Northwest where the people’s spirit remains unbreakable, the Honourable Bai Mahmoud stood deeply moved by the outpouring of love from the district he proudly calls his mother’s home.

“Port Loko is my mother’s land. It is only fitting that I announce my readiness to lead here,” Bai Mahmoud declared, triggering thunderous applause and emotional cheers from supporters.

His announcement resonated deeply across the district, with many viewing his leadership bid as a natural continuation of his years of loyalty, dedication, and unwavering service to both the party and the nation.

Several influential party figures publicly expressed their support:
• Regional Secretary Hon. AKK praised Bai Mahmoud’s discipline, consistency, and undeniable contribution to the APC.
• The District Chairman applauded his grassroots engagement and longstanding commitment to party unity.

Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura was honoured as the Most Distinguished Grand Chief Patron for this year’s celebration. His presence added great significance and inspiration to the occasion, as the congregation joyfully welcomed him with gratitude and excitement.

Hon. Bai Mahmoud continues to demonstrate remarkable spirit of religious tolerance ,unity and leadership.

Interestingly, with the plethora of aspirants coming up to be counted, which is good for the party's democracy. None of them had been in Cabinet, thus, it would literally be impossible for them to understand the dynamics of governance. The party doesn't need an experiment as we are preparing for governance in 2028.

What the APC requires now is a man who knows its inside out, a man who has the knowledge of its fault lines and possesses *the political authority to mobilize the mentality amongst Sierra Leoneans to work out solutions to its multidimensional problems.

Apart from being in the trenches far longer than others, he knows the APC and Sierra Leone far better, to the point that he put his life on the line. And eventually his conviction and consistency over the years working for the Party, has given him the critical edge, long before his political ambition to lead the party in 2026.
