This is the People Centred Cashew Nut Initiative. PCCNI. A cooperative born in 2017 with a bold mission: to break the cycle of rural poverty.
Founded by visionary agriculturalist John Gbongitta, we are led by the belief that when farmers are equipped with knowledge and support, they can transform their lives.
We practice climate-smart agroforestry. We train women and youth. We build community-owned nurseries and storage facilities. We put people first—always.
Every cashew we grow carries more than rich, buttery flavour. It carries the dignity of fair work, the pride of community ownership, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
