Fired-Up U-17 Girls Complete Final Drill Ahead of Yamoussoukro Showdown

The Sierra Leone Football Association U-17 Women’s National Team wrapped up their final training session in high spirits ahead of their first preliminary round double-header in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Ivory Coast.

The session, filled with intensity, focus, and determination, showcased a team ready to rise to the challenge.

Head Coach Fatmata Turay expressed confidence in her squad, praising the players for their commitment and impressive performances throughout the final phase of preparations.

With morale high and strong unity within the camp, the young Sierra Queens are eager to make their mark on the international stage. Both legs of the encounter will be hosted in Yamoussoukro, with the first leg set for 12th April and the return leg on 17th April 2026.

The team will depart on Tuesday morning for Ivory Coast, carrying the hopes and pride of a nation as they aim to progress beyond the first preliminary round.
