*Professor Esther Ngah Director of the School of Chemical Engineering and Mineral Industries visits Kesmonds International University Ngaoundere Cameroon campus.*
The Director of the School of Chemical Engineering and Mineral Industries EGCIM of the Public University of Ngaoundere Professor Esther Ngah paid a working visit to Kesmonds International University Ngaoundere campus. During the working visit the Rector of Kesmonds International University welcomed the team of EGCIM as they shared a tete-a-tete plan on the nature of their collaboration. Both Directors share a common goal of industrializing their faculties into small and medium-sized enterprises. The creation of industries within university faculties will be crucial for enhancing the relevance and applicability of academic research. As universities traditionally emphasize theoretical contributions, they often lag in addressing immediate industry needs. By fostering industries within their frameworks, universities can create a symbiotic relationship where both academia and industry benefit from shared resources and knowledge. This collaboration enables both institutions to translate theoretical insights into practical applications, ultimately enriching the educational experience for students while addressing real-world challenges.
