Today, the Association of Orthopedic Surgeons of South Sudan joined the global community in marking the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence with a high level Scientific Symposium held at Juba Teaching Hospital.
The symposium, titled “Trauma in Pregnancy,” brought together medical specialists, practitioners, and stakeholders to discuss the challenges and best practices in managing trauma among pregnant women. The event emphasized the need to strengthen maternal healthcare, improve emergency response, and raise awareness of GBV related health risks.
