Ahead of the Day of the African Child celebration at Gorom Refugee Camp, children participated in a three-day theatre training workshop and arts camp led by Sudanese theatre artist Imad Hassan.

Through storytelling, movement, teamwork, and performance exercises, the children developed their skills and prepared for the stage production The Umbrella Story (Hikayat Mazalla).

The workshop provided a safe and supportive environment where children could express themselves, build confidence, and transform their experiences into powerful stories.

On celebration day, their hard work came to life through an inspiring theatrical performance that captivated the audience and showcased the incredible talent, creativity, and resilience of young people in the camp.
