Youth Link Participates in National Migration Roundtable in Juba

Youth Link proudly participated in the Expert Roundtable Discussion on the Impact of the Renewed Migration Crisis Amidst Reduced Funding in South Sudan, held on April 23, 2026, in Juba.

The high-level roundtable was organized by Talent Initiative for Development (TIDE) in partnership with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) South Sudan Country Programme, bringing together key stakeholders from government institutions, UN agencies, civil society, and development partners.

As a youth-led organization committed to peacebuilding, advocacy, and community resilience, Youth Link used this important platform to amplify the voices of young people affected by displacement, conflict, and economic hardship.

🗣️ During the discussions, Youth Link emphasized:

The importance of meaningful youth inclusion in migration policies and decision-making
Strengthening community-based responses to internal displacement
Promoting peace, resilience, and social cohesion among vulnerable communities

🙏 Our appreciation goes to TIDE and KAS for the invitation and for creating a platform that fosters dialogue and collective action on migration challenges in South Sudan.

With South Sudan facing increasing internal displacement alongside reduced humanitarian funding, Youth Link reaffirms its commitment to working collaboratively with partners to ensure that young people are not left behind.

Together, we continue to champion youth-led solutions for sustainable peace and inclusive development.
