Two UN peacekeepers dead in Malakal after shooting among themselves
Two UN peacekeepers died and two others injured on Tuesday in a shooting inside the UNMISS base in Malakal, Upper Nile State.
UNMISS confirmed the incident involved a military peacekeeper who shot a female colleague dead before turning the gun on himself. An investigation is underway.
The mission expressed deep regret and extended condolences to the families of the deceased.
