Microphone Techniques*

1.Hold the microphone correctly: Hold the microphone 6-8 inches from your mouth, with the grille (the metal mesh part) facing your mouth.

2.Position the microphone for optimal sound: For speaking, place the microphone slightly off-center, about 1-2 inches from the corner of your mouth. For singing, position the microphone directly in front of your mouth.

3. Avoid popping and breathing noises: Use a pop filter or a windscreen to reduce plosive sounds (like "p" and "t") and breathing noises.

4. Don't tap or bump the microphone: Avoid making unnecessary noises that can be amplified through the sound system.

The official process of getting Starlink internet kit in South Sudan for individual.

Step 1: Order Your Starlink Device (Online):

✍🏿 Visit the Starlink website: https://www.starlink.com/

✍🏿 Enter your details and South Sudan address during checkout.

✍🏿 Choose your preferred device:

▪️ Standard Kit: $374 (includes first month of service)
▪️ Starlink Mini: $224 (includes first month of service)

✍🏿 Pay with a valid Visa or Mastercard.

Step 2: Wait for Shipment (3-4 weeks):

▪️ You will receive a tracking number from DHL for your Starlink device shipment.

Step 3: DHL Clearance (Nearest DHL Office):

▪️ Once your device arrives in South Sudan, go to DHL office
▪️ Visit the DHL office and complete a form with your personal information and device details.

Step 4: Obtain Letter of No Objection (NCA) - FREE:

▪️ Important: Currently, the process requires obtaining a "letter of no objection" from the National Communications Authority (NCA).

▪️ Visit the NCA office in [NCA Office Location in South Sudan] and submit a request for a letter of no objection for your Starlink device. Carry a copy of ID and the Invoice from the Starlink

Step 5: Collect Your Starlink Device (DHL):

▪️ Once you have the letter of no objection from the NCA, return to the DHL office to collect your Starlink device.

▪️ There should be no additional cost for collection.

Note: After installation and activation process, Starlink will charge monthly subscription fee of $50 for the Standard Kit and $30 for the Mini Kit.

It’s also worth noting that NCA is working to streamline and make life easier by making the availability of the ‘Letter of no Objection’ at the port of entry instead of going all the way to NCA offices in Gumbo (Shirkat). In South Sudan’s case, the collection point (DHL) is the port of entry. NCA says this will be implemented soon.
