Maluach, a rising star in global basketball and a standout at the NBA Academy Africa, is one of many South Sudanese nationals currently affected by the abrupt revocation of U.S. visas.

Kaman, who recently led South Sudan’s national team to a historic qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics, has drawn international praise not only for his performance on the court but also as a symbol of hope for the young nation.

Ugandan President Museveni concludes two-day visit to South Sudan

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has wrapped up a two-day working visit to South Sudan, where he held discussions with President Salva Kiir and other political stakeholders.

During his visit, Museveni met with representatives from various political parties, including the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-In Opposition (SPLM-IO). The talks focused on fostering dialogue and cooperation among South Sudanese factions, a key aspect of the country’s path to stability.

He also engaged with signatories of the peace agreement to assess its implementation and discuss steps toward fully realizing the accord.
