𝐉𝐔𝐁𝐀, 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓— President Salva Kiir Mayardit, and the Commander-in-Chief of the South Sudan People's Defence Forces, has directed the army to stay away from politics, but rather to focused on its constitutional role of defending the country, its people, and their properties.

‎The President was speaking during a leadership transfer at the Military Headquarters in Bilpham, where Dr. Paul Nang Majok has formally assumed the position of the new Chief of Defence Forces, succeeding former CDF Gen. Dau Aturjong Nyuol.

‎The President underlined the importance of discipline within the ranks and urged the new army leadership to continue the transformation agenda of the military. He also directed the new leadership to prioritise the welfare of soldiers, serve the country with integrity and loyalty, and work together to safeguard peace, security, and national harmony.

‎Senior officials at the Eagle House say the change of command reflects the continued momentum towards the consolidation of a professional and unified army as the nation transitions to peace, stability, and institutional reform.

Adjournment of Lies: How Court Fakes Justice

South Sudanese, open your eyes.

Kiir’s government drags Riek Machar and others into court, already calling them criminals before a single piece of evidence is shown. That is not a trial, it is a dictatorship dressed in robes.

And the biggest shame? Today is the FOURTH session, yet prosecutors are still asking for adjournment. Four times! Why? Because they are not looking for truth, they are buying time to cook up fake evidence. Real evidence speaks for itself. Lies need time to be manufactured.

This exposes the true face of Kiir’s government:

1. Weak—because a strong government presents facts, not fabrications.
2. Dishonest—because instead of proof, they invent lies in back rooms.
3. Afraid—because they know the truth will destroy them.

This is not justice. This is a circus where the judges wear robes, the prosecutors stall for time, and Kiir is the director who writes fake scripts.

South Sudan, remember: every adjournment is not about “preparing evidence "it is about creating lies. The more they delay, the more they prove they have nothing real.

Justice delayed is justice denied. But in Kiir’s failed, corrupted, and tribal regime, justice is not just delayed it is replaced with lies.

President Salva Kiir Mayardit has just suspended the First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon as the First Vice President, effective immediately

Machar steps down immediately following the statement released by the Minister of Justice earlier on. Dr. Machar, as one of the accused and detained politicians facing allegations of conspiracy, financing terrorist acts, destruction of public and military property, and inciting violence in Nasir County will be tried in the court of law in front of the public.

The United States Supreme Court has allowed the Trump Administration to deport eight men, mostly foreigners, who have been held at an American military base in Djibouti to .

Among them is only one South Sudanese national, while the rest are from Vietnam, South Korea, Mexico, Laos, Cuba, and Myanmar. The convicts were found guilty of serious crimes while in the U.S.

🧑‍⚖️ The Supreme Court’s order came after the conservative majority ruled that immigration officials can quickly deport individuals to countries to which they have no connection, overruling an earlier order that required proof they wouldn’t face torture or persecution.

The SPLM (IO) Political Bureau in Juba, under the leadership of H.E. Dr. Riek Machar Teny, convened today and firmly denounced the recent claims and unilateral decision made by the suspended member, Stephen Par. Mr. Par falsely asserted that he had assumed the position of Interim Chairman, replacing the incumbent Chairman, H.E. Dr. Riek Machar Teny.

This statement serves to clarify and inform the public, and especially members of the SPLM (IO), that the party's leadership remains united, strong, and unwavering under the stewardship of H.E. Dr. Riek Machar Teny.

Without Riek, There Is No R-ARCSS—And No Peace

You say “lock him up,” thinking that once he’s out of the picture, there’ll be calm. You believe that with Dr. Riek Machar gone, the road to power will be clear. But history has already proved you wrong.

When he was detained in South Africa—isolated, silenced, cut off from everyone—the war didn’t stop. It got worse. And whether you admit it or not, the only reason the R-ARCSS was revived was because he returned. Without him, there would have been no agreement, no pretense of peace.

So be careful. If you abrogate the R-ARCSS just to get rid of one man, you’re not removing a threat—you’re pulling the last thread holding the whole arrangement together.

He was the reason there was relative peace, restraining his supporters who are suffering without salaries because they haven’t been integrated. You think they’ll listen to those you’re paying off and illegally installing?
