If the government is indeed aware of alleged unlawful activities—such as scamming drivers and unlawfully charging businesses—yet fails to intervene, it suggests a profound neglect of its duty to its citizens.
Prioritizing personal or family interests over the well-being and economic stability of the people of South Sudan is a betrayal of public trust. Such an approach exacerbates the hardships faced by citizens, stifles economic growth, and erodes faith in governance. A responsible government must actively protect its citizens from exploitation, ensure accountability, and uphold the rule of law to foster a fair and prosperous society for all 💙🙏
