This year, I have no idea if I was doing it right. I was completely lost. I took so many risks and even wore my heart on my sleeve. I've become more honest as I ended some connections, and the thing is once you finally do it, you will keep doing it again like it's a routine. I learned that there will be people who will take you for who you are and there will be others who will love you if you keep your flawed parts hidden. But still, I managed to stand loud as my healing was quiet.

I know that despite not knowing where to go, this year didn't fail to lead me somewhere and keep me going. I've lost so many important people, but I gained some along the way and for me that was enough. Life is not perfect, and every so often I wonder what would happen if things have gone so differently. Now, as this chapter draws close to an end, I would like to look back to see how far I've come. It wasn't an easy ride, but I know whatever it was that made it difficult just helps me so much, I learned my lesson.

Maybe I’ll never ask for help, but I’ll never forget those who always offered it.
