What More Can I Give?

I show up when the skies turn grey,
Hold storms for others, keep them at bay.
I build with care, I speak with grace
But still I see doubt on every face.

They weigh my words like hidden schemes,
As if my kindness masks dark dreams.
No matter how I try to prove,
Their trust is something I can’t move.

They count my flaws, not what I mend,
Question each truth that I extend.
A thousand goods, a single slip
And I’m the villain in their script.

What more can one like me provide,
When all goodwill gets brushed aside?
I stay, I help, I don’t demand
But they still flinch at my outstretched hand.

Try to trust people who never acted weird 🤔because children are not the same even though they're from the same mother.
