For any institution particularly the Broadcast media to maintain its sustainability and reliability, power or electricity plays a great role.

Therefore, the Management of Spirit 99.9 FM-Yei has embarked on the second and last phase of upgrading its source of power from the previous 5 KVA to 8 KVA and the solar capacity from 5.4 KWP to 8.1 KWP and the battery capacity from 10.6 Kwh to 21.2 Kwh.

With this, we believe that we shall be twice stable compared to the previous two years.

On the 14th of February, 2023, Rt. Rev. Bishop Levi Marandulu of the Episcopal Diocese of Yei who also doubles as the Board of Trustees Chairperson launched the first instalment of this noble locally driven initiative.

Thank God that He has blessed us with our own financial collections saved to meet this vision through the sale of our airtime or hours that has this immense outcome towards sustainable and pollution free power.

Each and everyone deserves to be appreciated for your prayers, words of courage, pieces of advice that has summed upto this work.
