Invest TCI, Salterra Resort & Spa, and Solar Sands Glassworks Partner to Deliver Glass Sculpting Immersive Workshop in South Caicos

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands - Tuesday, 12th May, 2026 - Invest Turks and Caicos Islands, in partnership with Salterra Resort & Spa and Solar Sands Glassworks, will host the Solar Sands Glass Sculpting Immersive Workshop in South Caicos from 12 - 15 May 2026.

The initiative was spearheaded by Salterra Resort & Spa as part of its commitment to repurposing glass waste generated through its resort operations. Through collaboration with Invest TCI and Solar Sands Glassworks, the programme creates an opportunity to transform waste glass into locally made, marketable craft products while supporting sustainability, entrepreneurship, creative industry development, and tourism-linked product opportunities in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

February 25th, 2026 - Invest TCI’s Business Support Unit (BSU) hosted a "CEO Mindset for Success" workshop, facilitated by Dawn Higgs, Director of the BSU. The workshop welcomed more than 35 in-person participants and additional online attendees, all eager to strengthen their leadership capacity and build more sustainable businesses.

The interactive training session focused on shifting from a “hustler mindset” to a CEO mindset, highlighting professionalism, discipline, and scalable systems as critical drivers of long-term success. With entrepreneurs sharing their experiences and best practices, participants explored leadership habits, vision-setting, and practical tools for sustainable growth.

This session forms part of BSU’s broader vision of a structured ecosystem that equips local businesses to compete confidently in a global marketplace. Invest TCI also extends sincere thanks to The Turks and Caicos Islands Community College for accommodating the session at its facilities, and for their continued partnership and support.
