A Different Definition of the Ocean in Architecture
Wave-shaped Bricks in a Cinema
The use of the ocean concept with bricks in the interior of a cinema, inspired by local geography and designed by One Plus Partnership architects, challenges all clichés associated with the ocean theme. This cinema uniquely combines functionality with aesthetics.
Sunlight streams in through the cinema’s sparse windows, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere. The bricks, precisely positioned to mimic waves, vary in length and angle, creating dynamic visuals from every perspective. The space features wave-inspired tables, chairs, and benches, all with organic, flowing curves.
The design harmoniously combines beauty and functionality, ensuring a memorable and safe experience for guests.
