The Third Edition of this cartoon details the history and development of Chiang Mai city in a medium accessible to adults and children alike. In addition to chronicling the establishment of Chiang Mai and its early existence, the cartoon is critical of the city's recent development pursued to support the growing tourist industry. Naming such issues as pollution, poverty, and poor public health, this book encourages readers to change behaviors and make sustainable choices in order to ensure a livable city for future generations. This book is also available in Thai, Lanna, Japanese, and French versions.
