✨ Planning, Purpose & Progress ✨
Following our successful International Widows Day Seminar, the Executive of Widow Support Trinidad & Tobago met on Saturday at Woodford Café to reflect on the event, discuss what worked well, identify areas for improvement, and plan activities and initiatives for the remainder of 2026.
We were also delighted to officially welcome Sally Pragg as our new Events Officer and Varuna Dial as our new Assistant Events Officer. We look forward to their contributions as we continue to expand our programmes and support services for widows, widowers and their families.
As WSTT continues to grow, we welcome members who are interested in becoming more actively involved to join one of our committees or volunteer teams. Together, we can make an even greater impact in the lives of those we serve.
💜 Exciting things are on the horizon, so keep following our page and watching our posts as we unveil our upcoming projects, events and initiatives for the remainder of 2026.
Together, we heal. Together, we grieve. Together, we grow.

July is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month. 💜
Today, we hold space for the mothers and fathers whose children were taken too soon, yet whose love continues to shine brightly every single day.
At Widow Support Trinidad and Tobago, we especially acknowledge and send love to our angel moms, Debbie Ann DeCastro, Sally Pragg and Neela Mangaroo Garcia. Your strength, courage and unwavering love for your children inspire us all.
The loss of a child is a grief unlike any other. There is no timeline for healing, no right way to carry such a profound loss. Yet, each day, bereaved parents rise, breathe, remember and continue forward while carrying their children in their hearts.
To every bereaved parent, please know:
💜 Your child matters.
💜 Your grief matters.
💜 Your love matters.
💜 You are not forgotten.
This month, and every month, we remember the children who are deeply loved and forever missed, and we honour the parents whose love for them will never fade.
With love,
Widow Support Trinidad and Tobago
