🌍💼 This morning, 𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝟕𝟓) 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 participated in an insightful session on 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐒𝐌𝐄𝐬, equipping local enterprises with practical knowledge to expand into the global digital marketplace.

Participants explored key areas including:
🌟 Accepting USD payments from international customers
🌟 Setting up a USD account from Trinidad & Tobago
🌟 Accessing and using USD debit cards
🌟 Integrating USD payment solutions into businesses and websites
🌟 Identifying the best platforms and tools for local businesses
🌟 Avoiding scams and protecting transactions

Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Simone Huggins, welcomed participants and 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝑻𝑻𝑹𝑪’𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒖𝒓𝒔, 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒔 with the digital tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to access global markets, earn in USD, and build a more resilient and competitive local economy.

She highlighted the 𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝑺𝑴𝑬𝒔, emphasizing that businesses must continue to embrace modern technologies and emerging opportunities to expand beyond local borders, strengthen resilience, and unlock sustainable avenues for growth.

The session was 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐦 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝, 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫; 𝐰𝐞𝐛-𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭. Alderman Mohammed has previously partnered with the LED Unit to deliver impactful sessions on social media marketing, integrating AI into business operations, and creating effective advertisements using Canva.
