首屆 THE INTERSECTION在大家的參與下順利落幕。
這不只是一次午後的聚會，更是台灣鞋設計師們跨越品牌與背景，一次難得的實體交會。

這一天，我們暫時放下圖稿，從螢幕後方走到現場。
從portfolio sharing的深度解析，到關於產業與職涯的真誠對話，我們看見了隱藏在作品背後，那股平時不容易被察覺的龐大能量。

建立這個場域的初衷其實很單純：
讓鞋設計不再只是各自埋首的修行，讓每一份專業與觀點，都有被聽見與共鳴的機會。

THE INTERSECTION has officially wrapped.
More than just an afternoon gathering, it was a rare moment for Taiwan’s footwear designers to meet beyond titles and brands.

We stepped out from behind our sketches and screens.
Through portfolio sharing and honest industry exchanges, we saw the passion and ambition that often stay hidden behind the finished work.

The idea behind this salon was simple:
Footwear design shouldn’t feel isolated.
Different perspectives deserve a place to meet, and every craft deserves to be seen.

To everyone who joined us, shared stories and asked questions — thank you.
You turned the concept of a footwear community into something real.

Volleyball Shoes Concept Design for Ishikawa Yuki

“Performance on court. Confidence off court”

Yuki Ishikawa is known for his explosive jumps, sharp direction changes, and powerful spikes — a playing style that demands footwear capable of performing at the highest level.

This concept was developed through the study of high-level volleyball movement, focusing on explosive forefoot push-off, rapid lateral transitions, and repeated high-impact landings. At the same time, one of the key design goals was clear: to move away from the conventional look of traditional volleyball shoes. The silhouette was intentionally refined and minimal, allowing the performance-driven structure to remain visually calm. The result is a shoe that supports aggressive play on court, while maintaining a modern, understated aesthetic suitable beyond training and competition. A performance-driven design, built to transition naturally from court to everyday wear.

THE ANATOMY OF AG1

Precision engineered from the ground up, the MIZUNO CITIUS DRIVE AG1 translates court dynamics into form —
a design that reacts, responds, and refines every movement.

The upper combines high-tenacity knit with no-sew overlays, creating a smooth yet structured frame that moves in sync with the foot. Each panel was placed to balance breathability and lockdown; light where you need motion, firm where you need control.
Underfoot, a dual-density Enerzy midsole pairs explosive forefoot rebound with plush rear cushioning, while the TPU shank channels force through the arch for seamless energy transition.
A newly tuned low-profile last enhances ground contact, complemented by a multi-directional traction tread pattern that grips through every cut and stop.

MIZUNO CITIUS DRIVE AG1

Last week, the MIZUNO CITIUS DRIVE AG1 was officially unveiled.

Being part of this project as a designer has been an unforgettable experience.
From the very beginning, our goal was to express the essence of agility and stability, qualities that define both Chun-chi Lin’s playing style and the needs of modern basketball players.

Every element was carefully considered: the knit upper’s flexibility, the Enerzy midsole’s responsiveness, and the low-profile silhouette shaped for Asian players’ movement and rhythm.

Grateful to have collaborated with Diamond Group and the Formosa Dreamers, and to the incredible team at Mizuno for giving us confidence and the opportunity to create together.
