Blackened Fish with Avocado Salsa Recipe
Ingredients
*For the fish:*
- 2 fish fillets (e.g., cod, snapper)
- 2 tbsp blackening seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste

*For the avocado salsa:*
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt & pepper to taste

Method
1. *Season* the fish with blackening seasoning on both sides.
2. *Heat* olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. *Sear* the fish 3–4 minutes per side until blackened and cooked through.
4. *Mix* avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt & pepper for the salsa.
5. *Serve* fish topped with the fresh avocado salsa.
