INFLAMMATION
When your body activates your immune system due to bacteria, viruses, injury or pollution.
I'm going to share my experience with the inflammation I had, how I got to know it, the symptoms I had and the solutions to it.
SINUSITIS
Is the inflammatory diseases I had which is the inflammation of the sinuses. When I went to the hospital I was given antihistamines and dexamethasone but was all in vain I never got any relief, then I started my research.
The antihistamines help to prevent the histamines which is a substance that's released to heal the inflammation but it leads to itchiness of the nasal cavity.
The symptoms I had
✓Itchy throat( 3am I would be mvhmvh that funny sound trying to scratch the throat)
✓Itchy ears
✓Difficult in breathing
✓Constant flu [every week I had flu and it would be worse during my periods]
✓I would feel mucus in my nasal cavity
solution
After my exams at campus I went to my sister she complained about the sound I was making and luckily found tamarind(second slide) I started taking it and then I would get mucus in my mouth and then would spit it out, this gave me relief.
Continued taking tamarind (I would s**t like nothing in the morning) started eating less since most times I was full (tamarind suppress hunger), reduced on milk intake and meat.
The flu went, lost my belly fat, had relief from sinusitis, had peaceful sleeps.
To me tamarind is a miracle fruit and I would highly recommend it to everyone, there is research on it by Dr Achan from Makerere university on healing blood pressure and diabetes as it Removes bad cholesterol from the body.

WHEY PROTEIN
Is a protein supplement used alongside resistance exercise to improve muscle protein synthesis and growth of lean muscle mass. Taken after a workout.
It's the liquid after cheese making or after removal of casein (fatty part) after fermentation.
TYPES OF WHEY PROTEIN
✓whey protein concentrate
This has low levels of fat, low levels of lactose and protein levels of 30-90%
✓Whey protein isolate
Whey is further processed to remove all the fat and lactose and protein levels are at 90%
✓Whey protein hydrolysate
Whey is pre-digested by undergoing partial hydrolysis for easy digestion.

DETOX WATER & HYDRATION
Is water infused with fruits, vegetables or herbs as seen in the slides. Fruits like orange, lemon, tamarind, veggies like cucumber, radish herbs like rosemary, hibiscus, etc.
On our detox plan detox water is the first thing in the morning on empty stomach, this is a habit everyone needs to adopt and adapt.

CELERY
What I know celery is not our native vegetable but it's sold in many markets in kampala i.e owino, nakasero, wandegeya, kalerwe, etc
I personally love it coz of its aroma and I love combining it with parsley, mint and ovacado for a good detox smoothie.
Here are the benefits of celery;
