Damali Ssali is participating in the 4th African Women in Processing (AWIP) Forum in Kampala, which opened Africa Industrialization Week. She joined a panel on harnessing AfCFTA opportunities for women-led cross-border value chains.

She emphasized that for women to fully benefit from AfCFTA (African Continental Free Trade Area), Africa must end border harassment, enforce accountability, improve systems, and ensure digital tools truly work for traders.
