FHRI is among the drafting team to review the sentencing guidelines at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort.

Cases such as nuisance and inciting violence are so common in this election season. The FHRI B-LAP office represented 28 inmates at Bushenyi Chief Magistrates Court and secured non custodial sentences for them given that the mitigating factors overweighed the aggravating factors.

Death has robbed us of a very ambitious, vibrant and resourceful young human rights activist. Angela Namirembe joined FHRI as an intern from Uganda Christian University - Law School and left as a Life Member of FHRI on 11th August 2025. She has lived a short but very impactful life.
