We are mums, coaches, and players, each carrying our own stories and struggles. Yet we’re still here, still standing together, and still believing in the power of rugby to change lives. 🏉💫

and this is why: During my last visit to Uganda, I had the privilege of spending several days with Flavia and the RTL (Rugby Tackling Life) team in and around Kitgum. Together, we ventured into communities afflicted by the nodding disease, accompanying them to workshops aimed at providing support and solutions. Prior to this experience, I hadn’t fully comprehended the severity of the situation in these areas. The stark realities of poverty, limited access to healthcare facilities, and the struggles of providing food for their disabled children were deeply unsettling. Witnessing these challenges firsthand left me profoundly shocked…
