My heartfelt condolence goes to the people of Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA), especially Lekuangole County, Wuno Payam. As a daughter of Akobo County, specifically Nyadit Payam, I am deeply saddened by the sudden news of civilians killing.

Honesty, we the people of Akobo are not aware and part of this tragic incident, and we strongly condemn such violence. The Murle and Akobo communities have long been connected through intermarriage and shared history for very lengthy period; enough is enough!

As the Akobo community, we call for peace and unity between Murle and Akobo Community.

If there are individuals responsible for any crimes, they should be treated as such and not used to divide our communities.
