One thing I remember vividly; My mother used to prepare my dad breakfast every single day even on days we all sensed they weren’t in good terms. She would always make sure my dad ate his favorite food.

Equally my dad always made sure he provided for his home irrespective of what situation there was between him and his wife.

Another thing they did was they made sure they hid all their bad times from us but as we grew older we got to realize some of those moments.

And that taught me a lot as a man: Taking care of your family is not a choice, it’s an obligation that sometimes we don’t choose but rather choses us basing on our decisions. And that we should never at some point forget that.
We as young men need to raise our children with values so we don’t create a broken generation after us. I can’t say I am perfect, but I’m glad I’m trying. We all can try.

Women, let’s not run our homes basing on emotions. Your man irrespective of what he has done remains the father of your child. Giving someone food is not a choice it’s an obligation that society unfortunately put on your lives. Food and s*x are men’s most basic needs. Don’t try to use them to justify your anger.
