They’re always a few pictures. You are a little leery about posting. I thought I would just go ahead and throw these two out here. So Gussie really likes her back end scratched. Especially her bag since it’s getting larger and she’s due to have her first calf in August. I’m so excited. But she likes to have it rubbed and scratched.  And of course, if you know me, if she likes it, I’ll probably do it. I am a big push over when it comes to my cows. Lol

A good read about highland cows
Educational post!!
It has been brought to our attention by inquiring minds that mini highlands are most likely chondro +..... if you know your breeding highlands do not carry the chondro gene. A highland can be " high percent highland with enough dexter to carry the gene. People are being told their calves are full highland but C+ or suspected. As breeders it's our responsibility to be honest and educated people who are new to cattle! There is a lot of confusion going around that ends up at my door step😆.
Also micro= C+ but C+ does not mean micro! We have a wonderful market but to keep things going honesty and education has to be apart of it! There are always so many things to learn in the cattle industry, every day we are striving for knowledge!!
