A new season ππ³πΌ means a new bathroom remodel!
This project was something new, turning two rooms into one. A laundry room and a small full bathroom. The clients wanted to take the dividing wall (and door) out, and create a larger full bathroom space with upgrades to the sinks/vanity, flooring, and fixtures.
After the separating wall and door was taken down, the electrical was re-arranged and some new fixtures were installed by Nysetvold Electric out of Twin Valley. The walls and ceilings needed to be patched, mud, taped and textured, all done by Nick Schoning.
Instead of tearing out the existing floor (tile), a floor leveler was applied and a wide board luxury vinyl plank from Lowe's was installed over it.
The double vanity was chosen by the client to match the new floor and existing laundry storage and it looks great! Along with an engineered marble top.
All of the fixtures and finishings were picked by the client, consisting of mostly Moen brand products.
New baseboard trim and a new door finished off this project nicely!
Thank you to Bobby and JoDee Miller, amazing people to get to know and work with!

Interior woodworking projects (especially in the middle of winter π₯ΆβοΈ) are awesome!
Maybe you replaced a window and now need to install new trim. I would love to do it for you!
Maybe you realize your basement stair treads need to be replaced after someone breaks through two of them (he was unharmed, thankfully!). I would love to do that for you as well!
Whatever your New Year projects are, let me know!

Another bathroom transformation!
These amazing clients wanted to update their master bathroom, and they made some fantastic choices! π€©
The original vanity was a large one, but with only one sink. Along with being dated and showing its age. They chose a beautiful 72" vanity from OVE in Almond Latte with a white engineered marble top.
The new faucets are from Kingston Brass in an oil rubbed bronze finish.
The original flooring was glued-on linoleum. The clients chose to go with a new tiled floor. The tile is porcelain at 12" x 24" in Aurora Stone Taupe, with white epoxy grout.
The original hardware on the vanity was changed to ones chosen by the clients to better match their style. Along with changing the mirrors to unique ones from ANDY STAR.
The paint was picked from McCollum Hardware and is a distinct Japanese Seaweed. A great color!
And of course, not pictured is all the plumbing, especially all the lines being updated with PEX-A piping.
Thank you so much to Nick and Kassey! You are a great family and a thanks for allowing me to work on your bathroom!

The before-and-after photos show the dramatic changes in both spaces.

Woodworking is the best!
A repeat client approached me with two different woodworking projects:
1.) Project #1: Refresh and repaint an 80+ year-old family farm table. The table had been sitting in storage for many years and holds great sentimental value to the family. The process of sanding was extensive, while also trying to maintain the table's era aesthetic.
The finish product isn't pictured but it turned out great, with a new fresh coat of white paint!
2.) Project #2: Replace all the friction drawers in the kitchen with new custom drawers and modern drawer slides. Along with taking the drawer fronts off the old drawers and installing them on the new ones. It turned out great and now the drawers slide nice and smooth!

I love creative and new projects!
Last spring I installed Luxury Vinyl Plank in a bonus room for some wonderful clients.
They approached me this spring with a creative idea: installing a bar sink and facet in a normal modern-style buffet. Along with adding a garden hose spigot for more convenient hot tub filling. The room is now the husbands office, and needs an area for organization/storage. Along with wanting to fill up the coffee maker and dump it out without leaving the office.
The buffet was purchased from Wayfair, it was assembled, and then the fun began! With a bar sink and facet off of Amazon, it was a fun challenge and it turned out great!
Would love to help you make your ideas and projects become a reality!

Hope y'all are staying healthy as we come out of our yearly hibernation with warmer temperatures on the horizon! ππ
With the next season approaching, new projects are coming up. Take a look at this recent Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring transformation!
This customer wanted one, flowing floor through all three rooms (kitchen, dining, and laundry). She picked great flooring from Ada Building Center, LLC and the end result compliments her walls, cabinets and trim.
