We’re pleased to welcome Jordan Ross to Highmark Residential as Director of Strategic Initiatives.

Jordan brings nearly two decades of experience across multifamily operations, student housing, corporate operations, and PropTech, with a career focused on improving how teams work, how systems perform, and how strategy turns into scalable ex*****on.

Prior to joining Highmark Residential, Jordan spent nearly six years with Brookfield Properties, leading enterprise-level centralization, corporate operations, and strategic initiatives across its multifamily portfolio. His work supported the full prospect and resident lifecycle, helping reduce friction for onsite teams, strengthen controls, improve efficiency, support the resident experience, and deliver measurable portfolio impact.

In his role, Jordan will focus on strategic initiatives that improve processes, support vendor and technology decisions, strengthen operational performance, and help teams scale with confidence across Highmark Residential’s apartment communities.

Known for connecting people, process, and technology, Jordan brings a practical, operator-first approach to building solutions that make work easier for teams and improve the resident experience.

Please join us in welcoming Kory LaVelle to Highmark Residential as Vice President of Operations for South Florida.

Kory brings more than 20 years of multifamily experience, beginning his career as a Leasing Consultant and growing into leadership roles focused on operations, lease-up strategy, portfolio performance, and team development across several major U.S. markets. His background includes experience with two of the largest REITs in the country, third-party property management, and oversight of portfolios with up to 15,000 apartment homes.

In his role, Kory will support operational ex*****on, resident satisfaction, and team performance across Highmark Residential’s South Florida apartment communities. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and creating a supportive, people-first culture where employees can thrive.

Outside of work, Kory enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with his two French Bulldogs, Dexter and Mona.
