Our Story

I create handmade plush toys from eco-friendly materials. Not only do I create stuffed animals, but plush food and various play sets that can be used as toys, party favors, or decorations.
Plush food is becoming a growing trend to support our children's pretend play in a way that is safe and inviting for all ages. Items are soft, colorful and hand washable. I offer several play sets that combine several items into a themed ready-to-play scenario. For example, the Grill set comes with a grill, hamburger, hotdogs, ketchup and mustard bottles. The hamburger and hotdogs include the bun, hot dog/hamburger, onions, mustard squiggles and cheese as individual pieces that allow for separating and stacking. Not only do these activities stimulate creativity and pretending during playtime, but they incorporate finer motor skills.
I use felt and polyester filling made from recycled plastic bottles. These products are also made in the USA. Not only do the materials support the environment, but they are safe, soft, fade resistant, colorfast, and strong. The majority of my items are hand sewn one at a time with strong stitches that are sure to hold up to many playtimes. Some items are recommended for ages 3+ due to smaller parts or embellishments.

While we used to have a shop in Hudson, that grew and moved to Barberton, and then again to Worthington/Columbus, due to my autoimmune disorder and worsening health, I have decided to scale back and have closed our store. The plan is for me to work from home, get some much needed rest, and focus on getting healthy and getting new plushies made so we can get out to the art shows and festivals like we used to. I want to personally thank all of our friends, customers, and artists who helped make all three shop locations so wonderful and special! Perhaps, in the future when I am healthier, we’ll do it again!
