Murdochs in Mission has both chicks and the coffee bedding for chickens.

Many use sand in the coop; however, we prefer the Deep Litter Method to lower respiratory health issues, absorb coop moisture, and lessen the coop's odor.
We layer the three products and as needed, we layer the three right over the bedding that's already there. After winter, we clean it all out and start the process again. A benefit to leaving it past winter is that as the bedding biodegrades, it helps "heat" the coop and bit during the winter temps.
This is what we use... Diatomaceous Earth - controls mites & other bugs
Barn Lime- helps control ants & other insects, & neutralizes the ammonia smell
Pine Pellets (flakes or pelletized) helps control moisture, helps neutralize odor & ammonia
