Do you ever wish you could just silence the chatter in your mind?

Does that chatter take you higher or exhaust you?

Our minds are so effective at giving us messages that no longer serve.

I’m talking about those voices that are on a continual loop in our minds, they can be so effing relentless.

They’re usually so judgy and disapproving.

They are so good at reinforcing our belief that we’re NOT OK as we are.

They drone on and on about how we’re wildly Too Much, and desperately Not Enough, at the same time.

The consistency of the messages that loop in our mind reinforces our old beliefs that tell us we’re not up for what we crave, desire and dream about.

So many of us, simply stop dreaming…

And we’ve learned to back down from what we really want because it all feels like too much to handle and way too risky.

These messages try to keep us safe so that we can avoid getting hurt or humiliated if we screw up or make mistakes.

But here’s the thing.

I see that you’re last on your to-do list because you’ve been conditioned and taught to make everything and everyone else the priority.

You say you want to up-level your life and your business but it feels so overwhelming because you don’t know where to start.

You justify your life circumstances and back down from what you really want, and you keep busy with all the demands on your plate, like people pleasing and doing what’s expected of you.

Your nervous system is amped up with all that’s going on in our world and yet you keep going, trying not to pay attention to all the signs that you are exhausted and out of alignment.

You realize you need support and yet you lean into your familiar pattern of “I’ve got it handled” only then finding yourself resentful of others for not having your back and leaving you feeling alone and not seen.

THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT.

We were NOT taught how to navigate life on our terms.

We’ve been taught that our value is in over-giving and that it’s selfish to focus on your well-being and your dreams and desires.

The truth is you are WORTHY beyond measure to make yourself a priority in your life.

I work with beautiful humans just like YOU. The only difference is, they’ve decided to take ACTION, rather than putting off their dreams and desires for another day.

I help my clients work through their blocks around being seen, finding their confidence, earning more money and busting through the conditioning that has held them back from going after what they truly desire.

I am here to remind you that you’ve got one life, one glorious life, and I’m here to support you in Rising and Delighting in Being More of You, so that you can experience the freedom that comes with the audacity to be authentically YOU.

If you're feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by all that's taking place in our world, I want you to know I see you and I feel you!!

I thought I'd share some of my practices that help me to regulate my nervous system.

These 10 daily habits and practices will support you in creating a regulated nervous system. You will feel better, you'll increase your energy and you'll be able to connect with the much-needed medicine of love and compassion, for yourself and others.

🌻 Exercise for 10+ minutes

🌻 Monitor and reduce your screen time - and if you can get offline for a week or two, you will rediscover yourself again, without all the noise.

🌻 Turn off stressful media and content

🌻 Face-to-face social time with friends, and remember to play

🌻 Practice stillness for 10+ minutes

🌻 Get exposure to early morning sunlight

🌻 Have a consistent bedtime routine

🌻 Minimal to no alcohol use

🌻 Nourish your body with nutrient-rich meals and snacks

🌻 Drink plenty of water

I have been talking with so many people lately and the common denominator is people are feeling stuck and overwhelmed.

It's undeniable that the past few years have been incredibly tough, and many of us have experienced various forms of trauma, whether due to the global pandemic, personal loss, or the complexities of all the demands in our fast-paced lives.

Yet, in the midst of everything, we can find the strength and energy to move through the stuckness and heaviness that we’re experiencing to reconnect with our joy, one step at a time.

If you’re experiencing this too, I want you to know you are not alone. There is a way through it all that feels so much better than what you may be feeling right now as you’re reading this.

Releasing your trauma to unleash your joy is a journey we embark upon lovingly, with open hearts and a deep understanding of the challenges we face.

Trauma is an indelible part of the human experience.

I want to be clear about what it means to move through your trauma because I think there may be a misunderstanding due to the word "Trauma."

It’s not about going back and getting mired in the pain of what you experienced.

It’s actually forward-facing, it’s about recognizing when you’re in a trauma/threat response, which is usually a familiar, repetitive pattern. And then, being able to regulate your nervous system so that you can feel better immediately so you can ask yourself what you need and meet your needs in that moment.

Trauma happens from unmet needs and not having your needs validated. (read this again)

It's essential to know that experiencing trauma and dysregulation doesn't make us weak; rather, it informs us that it’s time to tend to our well-being by meeting our own needs.

As leaders in our own lives, within our families, our communities and our businesses we can embrace ourselves with compassion and self-acceptance by simply recognizing our unmet needs and having our needs validated.

This is the first step towards healing and rediscovering joy.

One of the most profound ways to heal from trauma is through connection, coaching, and mentorship.

As your coach and mentor, it is my mission to help you understand and release your trauma so you can regulate your nervous system to unleash the joy that is within you and just waiting to come out.
