Huge congratulations to Fat Tire Cycles’ own Javier Pedroza for taking the win at this week’s ABQ Tuesday Night Crit! 🏆

Many of our customers know Javi as one of the friendly faces behind the counter and a wealth of cycling knowledge, but he’s also a talented racer with a deep history in the sport. After years away from competition, he pinned on a number, lined up, and rode straight to the top step of the podium.

It was also great seeing local athletes like Kyle Step and the rest of the podium finishers representing Albuquerque’s strong cycling community.

Congrats again, Javi. We’re proud to have you as part of the Fat Tire Cycles family! 🚴🔥

Built and ready to rip.

Looking for a bike that can handle everything from the North DH course and Glorieta Bike Park to full days of shuttle laps at Angel Fire? This 2025 Transition Spire Alloy is ready for action.

Finished in the discontinued Raw Alloy colorway, this thing turns heads before it even leaves the parking lot.

Specs include:

• 170mm front and rear travel
• FOX 38 Factory fork with GRIP X2 damper
• Shimano XT drivetrain
• Shimano XT brakes
• Aggressive mixed-wheel setup built to charge through rough terrain

The Transition Spire has earned a reputation as one of the most capable long travel bikes on the market. It climbs better than it should, descends like a monster, and inspires confidence when the trail gets steep, fast, and rowdy.

Whether you’re headed to Angel Fire, Glorieta, the North DH course, or your favorite local trail system, this bike is ready to send it.

Stop by Fat Tire Cycles on Montaño and check it out before somebody else takes home one of the best looking bikes in the shop.
