Magnificent Mutts

This , please join us in wishing this very special pup good luck! Skipper is getting his front leg amputated today. 🩺

This handsome boy came to us over the summer, and his pure love of life and good nature made him an obvious choice to be featured in the Magnificent Mutts calendar, since we knew he’d get along great with everyone on set! 📸

Unfortunately, one of his front legs had been broken and healed incorrectly prior to coming to us. It has been causing him quite a bit of pain lately, and after trying weeks of a splint, cast, etc., veterinary experts determined the best course of action is to amputate.

We know there isn’t much that can slow this silly puppy down, and look forward to him being on the mend. 🩹 He will be going up adoption once he’s feeling good again.

If you want to leave your well wishes for Skipper below ⬇️, we will forward them to him when he gets picked up from the vet later today ♥️
