Our Story
Created for motivation and involvement in neighborhood affairs, Grassroots Society for Rural Involvement began in Baton Rouge, La and has been actively playing a role in the City ever since. Incorporated during a time of need in Gardere, Project GSRI was launched to help those who lived there. We formed a small group in the Fall of 1998 and incorporated in January 2005 and was active until 2011.

GSRI has been on hiatus since 2012, soon after the Founder's father passed away. Now, after a 6 years, Project GSRI is ready to serve once again! Citizens of Albuquerque need a network of agencies and program to “clean up” the city! We need a new City Council, one that will embrace change, and not fight it. We need to support our Mayor and his cabinet, as he moves this city forward.
Consider joining Grassroots Society and help make a difference in our city. We take volunteers in our Litter Patrol, Tutoring Programs and Special Needs. Non-profit and totally run by Volunteers, we ask you to consider getting involved and help us help other and make a difference.
