This furry 1-year-old prima donna is Sam. Contrary to popular belief, Sam DOES have the capacity to walk on his own--he simply prefers to be carried or travel via shoe (as pictured). Sam is loving, snugly, wonderful, and absolutely purr-fect.

Sam has FIV, so his immune system isn't very strong. Many people think that FIV is very contagious, or that it is deadly. In fact, FIV is very difficult for a cat to pass on to other cats (Sam does not have to be segregated), and most indoor cats with FIV live long lives. Sam is healthy, except for a tendency for getting colds (so yes, he makes a snorting sound sometimes).
