After a 32-word burst, Shrey Parikh wins the Scripps National Spelling Bee Shrey Parikh, an eighth-grader from California, won the Scripps Cup in his third appearance in the national spelling bee.

Our June Alumni Chat is with researcher and entrepreneur Maya Gupta! Maya was the Washington State Champion and top scoring female competitor at the MATHCOUNTS National Competition in 1990. She founded Artifact Puzzles and runs the Hoefnagel Puzzle Club while working as a researcher for the University of Washington Department of Electrical Engineering.
