‘Yarn Bombing’ Combats Hate Symbols 06/03/2026

Update today (6/2/2026):

An officer from the Beaverton Police Department reached out to us today and said that the carving of swastikas in the trees on Sullivan Lane could result in a criminal mischief charge or a city code violation.

He requests if anyone has information about the swastikas, or any white supremacist imagery they may have seen in the area, to please reach out to law enforcement.

The officer said to ask to speak to an officer directly, and include background information like time of day, frequency, description of what imagery, etc.
