CALLING ALL ALUMNI!

It’s time for the annual Pay It Forward Virtual Alumni Party! Join us this Sunday, April 26th @ 6:30PM for an evening full of laughter, memories, and celebration as we reflect on everything Pay It Forward has accomplished this year.

This virtual party serves as a fundraiser to help support the organization as it heads into a new academic year. The Core Team will take on some fun fundraising goal challenges, so you won’t want to miss it!

Be sure to spread the word to other Alumni members so they can join in on the fun. We can’t wait to see you there!

Spring 2026 Mini PIF Tour ☀️💙

This Mini PIFT weekend was filled with fun, exciting projects, tourism activities, and memories! We set the record with the number of service projects and tourisms in one day on a mini PIF Tour - 3 projects and 3 tourism activities in Le Mars in one day! We started off helping out with cleaning, dog walking, cat brushing and more at Wet Nose Rescue, organizing and tidying up at Helping hands Donation & Thrift Store, and wrapped it up with organizing and cleaning books at Le Mars Public Library! After that, we got a tour of the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor, as well as enjoyed some delicious frozen treats in the ice cream capital of the world! The second tourism activity was a mini race to get the most pictures with famous Le Mars ice cream cone statues🍦Finally, our group headed to the Plymouth County Historical Museum to wrap us up for the day!

What an amazing weekend full of service, fun, and connections! Thank you to all our volunteers for joining us and to all the non-profits for letting us serve them!

Leaving Ames early Saturday morning & returning Sunday morning

Mini PIFT is a miniature version of our biggest event, the Pay It Forward Tour, that happened during spring break! Mini PIFT is a great opportunity to serve, travel, and make connections over just one weekend! It follows a similar schedule, just on a much smaller scale -

Morning: Volunteer with a local nonprofit

Afternoon: Tourism activity in Le Mars

Evening: Leadership activities and time to connect with others

Sunday: Breakfast together and driving back to Ames

💲 Cost: $20 covers transportation, meals, housing, and activities. Just bring your energy (and a little extra $ if you love souvenirs)!

🛏 What to bring: Everything you’d need for one day and night. A pillow and sleeping bag are helpful since group housing is generously provided by a local church.

👥 Safety: For the weekend, we’ll stay together as a group at all times. All activities are pre-planned by our Bus Core, so you can focus on service, connection, and fun.

Everyone was truly touched by their mission.

The afternoon was as exciting as ever! After visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame, learning about the history of country music and loading up on souvenirs, we went on a picturesque walk to some famous murals, Broadway Street and John Seigenthaler Bridge. What an amazing day of the last service and tourism on the 2026 Pay It Forward Tour!

Last overnight stop in St. Louis and we’ll be off to Ames soon.
